Why when an aircraft is returned from lease it has 0 cycles and 0 hours?

I have leased out several aircraft and when they return they have 0 cycles and 0 hours i currently have 18 aircraft out on lease and  2 returned this morning and they had 0 cycles and 0 hours

but they still will cost maintenance because it depends on AGE

Probably the airline leasing them used the "clear all routes" button. For some reason, when pushing that button, the aircraft airframe hours and cycles are being reset to 0. This has nothing to do with the aircraft being leased and returned, it also applies to self-owned aircraft. Also it's world-independant, I've had this issue in several worlds. That button "clear all routes" clears more than just the routes.
