[FIXED] A bug or...

Hi, i was planning a LHR-HKG when i saw:

Depart: London Heathrow & Arrive: Hong Kong
Your Routes:
ID:    Airline:    Aircraft:    Frequency:    Fare:
Competitors Routes:

69368   Cayhay Pacific   ATR-72-500   3   670

how is it possible LHR-HKG with an ATR-72-500 and even 3x!!!!

This was already brought to the attention of the admins (StepehnM & Air Elbonia). They have already located the bug and fixed it. However, we have to wait for Cayhay Airlines to close his/her HKG-HKG route in order to make all these routes disappear. Right now, Cayhay is flying 3 frequencies one every route out f HKG with ticket prices of 670.

btw, if you cant stand the competition, it could be a good idea to move your base to another airport. (c'mon, I have to try

)

yes but i think Cayhay is unfair... can't you force him to close these "fraud" routes? he should buy bigger and more expensive planes!!!! and btw i have a good ranking (#19) and this is the first time i play this game...

hmm... Cayhay didn't start those routes. He/she has a HKG-HKG route (which is a bug that allows it and it has been fixed). Associating with that bug, the side effect is that Cayhay now has a route on all HKG routes with the frequency and prices mentioned above.

This actually is not Cayhay's fault. And frankly, I think I have been affected more than you have. Afterall, I have the majority in HKG

As for force-closing the HKG-HKG route, I would leave that to Air Elbonia to answer. As far as I know, AEB has already requested for Cayhay to close it.

It has been 2 days since the bug was discovered. Could someone force-close Cayhay's HKG-HKG route? (<- I mean close it for him/her)

C'mon, I am just trying to maintain my lead, which is absolutely fair. This "bug" does not only affect me. It affects everyone that flies out of or into HKG. As the "leader", I am just voicing out the request for the goods of all operators :wink:

btw, my DOP in HKG is dropping every time I refresh the game page. As for leading, I am leading them to $1 tickets on all routes... so... it is fair if you could afford to lose $$.

Not just only Cayhay, there are other ones too... but Cayhay apparently is ridiculous! (sorry for spelling if I have any) Cayhay only has 1 aircraft and he could actually fly it everywhere at a price of $670

Its a bug with the logic of competition searching, basically that airline has 1 route, HKG to HKG and when competition is looked up it is looking for DEP or ARR airports as HKG and this route comes into both. I'll clean it up shortly.
