Flying to Houston is Our Hobby!

America World Airlines has begun new service to Houston's William P. Hobby Airport today with new daily nonstop service from our New York-Kennedy Hub.  Nonstop service is once daily on our Boeing 737-200 Adv.

America World Airlines Arrives in Naples, Florida!

After heavy talks and extensive analysis, America World Airlines has begun new daily nonstop service between New York-Kennedy Airport and Naples Municipal Airport in Naples, Florida!  The new service is operated on our Boeing 737-200 Adv.

America World Airlines Launches Service in Panama City, Florida!

America World Airlines has begun new daily nonstop service between New York and Panama City, Florida today.  Service is on our Boeing 737-200 Adv.  Our opening of Panama City as a destination also means that we serve every metropolitan area in the State of Florida.  That doesn't mean you won't see any new Florida service, but it does mean we have excellent coverage throughout the state!

America World Airlines Says Aloha to Hawaii!

America World Airlines has extended its award winning service to Honolulu, Hawaii today with daily nonstop service from Los Angeles on our new Airbus A300!  Service from Los Angeles to Honolulu is made possible through our Global Skyways Alliance partners.

America World Airlines Departs Global Skyways

After careful evaluation of our strong points, and an extensive comparison of our route structure, America World Airlines has decided to pull out of the Global Skyways Alliance.  Though we are no longer partnered with some of the great airlines of the world, we still want to express our sincere gratitude to all of our former partners for helping to get our great airline off the ground.

America World Airlines Petitions to Join STARlite

America World Airlines has announced today that we have filed a petition to join with the STARlite Alliance.  After careful research, we feel that becoming part of STARlite would benefit not just us, but all of our potential airline partners.  We offer many new hubs to the alliance, and a new advantage for STARlite Airlines access to new destinations from our Hometown Hub at New York-Kennedy Airport!  We do hope to be working with the great airlines of the STARlite Alliance very soon!

America World Airlines Withdraws Petition for STARlite

Citing pursuit of other opportunities, America World Airlines has withdrawn its petition to enter STARlite.  We feel we can benefit elsewhere.  America World Airlines will continue to evaluate the best option for its future, whether it be a free standing airline, or a member of an alliance.

America World Airlines Opens Hub at Los Angeles International Airport!

America World Airlines has opened its newest hub today at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX/KLAX).  Current routes from Los Angeles include nonstop service to Honolulu, Vancouver, and Seattle.

America World Airlines has pulled a majority of Lisbon flights including:
New York-Lisbon
Lisbon-Reykjavik
Lisbon-Tel Aviv

America World Airlines Stays Strong In Florida With New Service to Sanford!

America World Airlines has launched daily nonstop service to Sanford, Florida today through Orlando Sanford International Airport!  Daily service will be provided from our Raleigh/Durham Hub on our DC-9-11.  Sanford is located in Seminole County, Florida about forty-five minutes southwest of Daytona Beach and about forty-five minutes northeast of Orlando.
