America World Airlines Announces New Service Between New York and Lisbon!

America World Airlines is pleased to announce our second Transatlantic route between our hometown hub at New York-Kennedy Airport and our alliance partner Fenix's hub at Lisbon Portela Airport in Lisbon, Portugal.  Service will be once daily on our Boeing 737-200 Business Jet with an all business class configuration.  Daily service is set to begin upon delivery of our second 737-200 Business Jet.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our transatlantic service into Lisbon," says CEO Evan Kisseloff, "This city is currently lacking a Global Skies presence to the United States.  With this new service, Portuguese travelers will have access through the Global Skies Alliance to many United States Destinations!"

Service between New York and Lisbon will be once daily.

America World Airlines Opens New Hub at Dallas Love Field!

The missing link in our domestic network will now be filled with the opening of our new hub at Dallas Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas.  This new hub will serve as a point for connections between the Southeastern United States and the Southwestern United States.  Our first two routes will be from Dallas to Daytona Beach, FL and Dallas to Los Angeles, California pending aircraft availability.

Reallocation of Aircraft To Dallas Hub Causes Station Closures

In order to carry out our new hub operation at Dallas Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas we had to discontinue service to four cities:

Charlottesville, Virginia
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Louisville, Kentucky
Columbus, Ohio

We will work hard to reinstate service as soon as we can.  Right now, we need to use our aircraft to make our domestic route network more efficient.

America World Airlines Begins Service to Mexico City!

America World Airlines has extended its service south of the border today with new nonstop service into Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport!  Not only is Mexico City our only destination in Mexico, but it is also the hub of a fellow Global Skyways Airline, Fenix.  This new service is also the first of our expansion to connect with other Fenix flights, as our new service to Lisbon, Portugal begins in a few weeks!

Global Skyways Information:

As members of the Global Skyways Alliance, America World Airlines and Fenix have an interline agreement.  That agreement will allow travelers on both airlines to connect from one to the other.  For travelers originating on an America World Airlines flight, please check in at the America World Airlines Ticket Counter at your departure airport.  For travelers originating on a Fenix flight, please check in at the Fenix Ticket Counter at your departure airport.
