There is one thing I do not get about the calculations. I use a spreadsheet and stuff to manage my airline, and the current formula I have is as follows:

(((Hours - .5) - TurnTime) * Speed) / 2 = Max Distance

The point 5 is because I heard AM rounds up, so the distance that appears should be a reliable distance every single time. However, this doesn't seem to be working, because I keep getting 0.5 frequencies instead of 1. For example, my Junkers Ju90 has a speed of 190 and a turn time of 0.23. I have 10 hours left on it.

(((10 - .5) - 0.23) * 190) / 2 = 880.65

However, when I go to create a route 880 nm from Beijing (Ex. Heihe (874 NM)), it says 0.5 frequency instead of 1. Can anyone tell me why, and if I'm missing something?

Thanks!

There is only one turn time in that formula. (IE. you only turned the plane for one leg, not for both of the round trip).

Correct formula = (((Hours - .5) /2) - TurnTime) * Speed
