DOP and leasing cost?

Does DOP factor in the lease payments on an aircraft?
Say a plane is making 100,000 / day profit buy my monthly lease is 4,000,000. I just want to find out if i am making any money or not..

It does not.

Quite simply for leased planes ... [(Plane's DOP) * 24] - (Price of Lease) = Profit

By the looks of it, you're losing 1.6M per month.

Leases ( WHen i was a newbie) never work for me
