I watch it quite often, I like mythbusters, and all other science stuff. But this is kind of old, but http://www.discoverychannel.co.uk/myshockingstory/halfman/index.shtml
I think that was the shocking story I've seen.

It is a good channel.  A lot of good shows a lot of good information.  Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, How it's Made, Smash Lab, you know.  I watch USA much more though.  Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, House. :D

One of my favorite ads!

I don't watch DC often but it does have great programs, one of which is Dirty Jobs. USA, Scifi, MSNBC, FNC and the History Channel are the the channels I watch most often.

Back in the 80's, they used to carry an Australian show called "Beyond 2000". That was cool stuff. They also used to run ads during that show which highlighted some of the concepts the Ford Motor Company was working on (infrared windshield, back-up collision detection, etc.).

I like that channel too.  But I don't get it. :(  I used to love Discovery Wings!  But they got rid of it. :(
