Hey ppl

Why do the owner of the aicraft have to pay the maintenance for an leased out plane? In real life, the operator is responsable for the maintenance...

i have more than 40 planes leased out now, and it turns out this is not really profitable.

I think that should be changed  :(

Well, that's one of the advantages of accepting a lease, you don't have to pay maintenence.  Otherwise it would be a rip-off.

We do intend to revamp the leasing market to add more depth (wet/moist/dry leases).  Unfortunately, there's only so much time in the day at the moment and the leasing revamp (though high on my personal list) is being beaten out by a few other big features.  Personal list: private worlds, mass route edit, possibly multiclass seating.  I know stephen's drafting a concept and formulas for a maintenance revamp overall. so much to do, so little time.
