ok, you extract the .rar file you have, then the routes, airlines and airports files are all .DAT
What you do, is right click > open with > choose program > then choose microsoft excel after you done that choose the tick box saying 'open this as the selected file always' or something like that > then it will open up
Go to the airline file and add your airline to the bottom of the list, DONT DELETE ANY OTHER AIRLINES AS THIS MY CLOSE ALL AIRLINE ROUTES AROUND THE PROGRAM. (easy way to get to the bottom> end + down key). Add your airlines code, can be however long you want it to be (i.e. mine is DRM and my name to the right cell is Dream. they can be however long you want). now find your routes in AM and then add them to the bottom of the list of the routes file. First cell on the left is the airline code, second and third are the departure/arrival airport (doesnt matter which way you put them in) then skip the fourth cell and just put in 0 into the 5th cell (colum E) but thats unless you have a stops on the route
now open up the AirlineRouteMapper.exe file and if there are any errors in the listing, it will tell you now after the welcome screen. Choose your airline in the dropdown box (have your window maximized for this) and then your off looking at your map
notes:
- any errors, note them down by copy paste into notepad then amend them
- routes can only be 3 letter airport codes, no 4 letter airport codes are recoqnised
- you can rename your main airline route map folders (the folders which are holding all the .dat files and the .exe ) to each world like I have
