Did you buy comets too?

Nope, I had no idea what I was doing, it was my first round.

I logged in for the first time in a day and a half, and I had about 300 million cash sitting around so I picked up 4 DC9-50s and 2 Caravelle 12s. Just opened up a new hub very close to one of my hubs.....so now my gate use is much more, um, efficient.

Biggest shopping spree.....ever.

I had something like that in either the 1990s or the 2000s round last year.  I think I bought a boat load of 777s.  I raked in like 1.5 billion bucks after sitting idle for a couple of days!!!

Given my penchant to choose Airbus over Boeing, I would have bought a boatload of A340-300s and A330-300LRs (by the way when we're talking airplanes, it's 1 or 2 planes/boat lol)! anyway, it was really cool to be able to order so many planes at once. I suspect the same thing's gonna happen again after exams when I won't have logged in for like, a week. And then I'll just pick up a boatload of 757s (as the new-gen airbuses aren't out here yet )

Oh, and then they changed the seating capacity for the DC9-40 from 90 to 125 so I had to go back and go on a route-editing spree after my little shopping spree.

By boat load of aircraft, I believe I meant a little more than 1 or 2, like at least 5 or 6 777s ;-)  Like I said, I had over 1.5 billion Euros at my disposal.

Right now, I don't have nearly as much cash to burn.  I had 155 million to burn, and I had already taken delivery of my first 727 and 737-200s.  I bumped my DOP up to 6 million, and then I ordered 3 737-100s, and 7 Fokker F27s.  Then after waiting for a little bit, I ordered another 737-100, and another F27-500.  Now I have 4x 737-100s, 4x F27-100s, and 4x F27-500s.  You think I'm ready to launch an arsenalt of new flights from a new focus city out of IAD? ;-)

I know....I'm kidding.

And I think you're ready. But hurry before it runs out of gates. Heathrow's already out of gates in my world.

Ordered another 3 caravelles. I now officially have more planes than I know what to do with.

Anyway I ordered like 12 planes and I don't konw what I'm going to do with them....I've started phasing out my smaller planes already so that should keep me busy for a while.

If you had 100 mil.
What planes would you buy...or what plane would you save up for???

In World 4, 100mil won't buy you much. 105mil will get you a 757.
I would add it to the 100mil or so I already have in my account and buy my 2nd 767-300ER. That would leave about 35mil which would be spent on a 735 after my next payday.

Well, I don't need anymore gates at LHR.  I sure hope that there are enough at AMS, CDG, and FRA tho...

I'd add it to the 13 million I have now (130 million in maintenance costs) and keep saving up for a 757, which is 126 million with the longer range engines.

Well I had 550 million sitting there, so I bought 3 767-300ER's with GE engines meaning a range of something like 7000nm! Thinking about it, I don't really need that for Trans-Atlantic..  :?
