Deficit Gate Financing Rule Change?

I just tried to rent a gate in W3 and it told me I didn't have enough cash (I'm -2.4M right now). Have the rules changed for gate rentals? I thought we could only not buy airplanes in negative cash, but gate/research costs were okay.

You are allowed to buy gates in debt to a point. Its probably because your airline value was over 25mil last time you were in debt and bought gates in the last game. Its basically 10% "Credit" you are allowed.

i am -2.4 m cash right now, but i can't rent gate in my hub in Turkey, Istanvul, why???

i know i have more than 10% of value in debt, but the problems is that the post before said this does not affect my gate reing of my base.

Just to clarify my post. It does not matter if you are renting a gate at your base.
