Gate rental problem

After the month change I was at about 2.4 million in the red. I had a new plane that came in that I needed to add routes. I bought a gate at PVG for 250K. I then realized that my second gate at my hub of HND had been returned. I tried to rent another gate at HND but was denied due to lack of funds, OK I understand as I am almost at 2,7 million in the red. I will wait until the next hour.

The next hour I am at just over 2.2 million in the red, go to rent the gate at HND and still can't :cry:

The next hour now I'm at 1.8 million and I still can't rent at HND :shock: WTH???

The next hour, same story, now I'm at 1.4 million in the red and still can't

What is going on?

I was allowed to get to 2.7 million negative. Now my value has increased and I can't get to 1.8 million negative.

I think they changed the code so that you need to have positive cash to rent a gate at your hub airport. Personally, I think we should be allowed to go into the negative to rent all gates including those at our hub airport, or no airports.

That's odd. I was able to go 1.8 in the negative when I started....and I'll probably go back down there when my new plane comes in.

Sooo... In order to make it all work; buy your plane (pay for delivery), buy your hub gates then buy destination gates correct?

I was kidding about the scrapping :wink:

Follow up, I was at -939,000 and I was allowed to buy the gate at HND. While I wasn't in the positive cash, I guess there is a different standard between buying additional gates and a first gate.
