I realize there's plenty of issues with LF. Can i pleease please request an adjustment though to the existing code to correct a major deficiency?

PLEASE eliminate NEGATIVE PASSENGERS.  I've had numerous routes when "forcibly reevaluated" by market entry of another airline go into daily losses. This is normally and all but well-and-good, except I could run a Dash-8-300 at 0 euros a ticket, and encur no gains or losses whatsoever with 100% loadfactor, YET if i charge 50 euros a ticket and someone moves in on the route, it can drop, somehow, into negative daily income.  My only (relatively weak) guess is that there are negative passengers now flying the route (a physical impossibility).

Just please, install a small safeguard on the LF script, albeit temporarily, stating "If ($routepassengers <0) $routepassengers=0".  I don't mind (exceptionally) having to readjust these routes, i just mind when a dash-8 or saab 340b is somehow losing money on a route that should break even at 0 euro tickets.

EDIT: Please make it so I never see this again:

Remember, if nobody gets on the aircraft airports dont hand out fuel for free, they dont drop airport charges and the crew need to be paid. I cannot say that the figure in there is correct but if nobody flies on a flight there are costs that still have to be paid. (Fixed costs)

I've put in a fix so that if the fare is blank, 0 or less than 0 its going to stop doing calculations.

Well, in game, evidently they do hand out fuel/etc free on a route basis with any plane that costs 0 per hour to operate. If the plane has cost/hr i'm more then happy to go negative, but how do you go negative with a saab 340b or a dash-8-300 any other way (especially when it periodically shows 3%-9% or even once or twice 100% LF)

Cost per hour is just base costs, fuel doesn't appear in the calcs but its in there somewhere!

Then can there be somewhere before buying an aircraft estimating its fuel usage? it may drastically affect my choice in aircraft.

(but seriously, i've had 100% LF listed as negative cash-flow, despite having had it when created 100% LF with positive cash flow. that HAD to be negative passengers)

Yes that would be a serious issue, can you forward any details of that happening to me? I've never come across it before.

Unfortunately that one was one i "corrected" to a positive balance, i know it was SMF-(california city) as i recall... I have a few routes presently with low LF%'s (2-4%) that are dash-8/340b's that are negative but i somewhat doubt that's significant enough to prove my sanity.

btw, you never gave your thoughts on my LF suggestion.

Because I am waiting on a reply from a guy I asked to do research into a new LF formula, that will include dynamic demand instead of the current static one. I'll send you details when this guy comes online later on.

PROOF POSITIVE.

bad Load Factor. BAD!

These were positive a few hours ago, when created.  Now they're 100% LF but negative earnings.

EDIT: leaving them in for analysis purposes (so you can see them in the db stephen), acct # 333, route numbers/details shown.
