ya, the only rich friend I have is snobby, and doesn't own a joystick, and plays flightsim with his numpad because he thinks he so good!

yeah i play on my numpad and i play really bad.  the only time ive ever landed a jet was at LAX, on a taxiway.

I can try to land, but it usually ends up with the plane in a mangled reck, near Mt. Rainer. :)

ya...
me to...
like, anytime I even think about an approach, my plane likes to disobey me...

I know what you mean all to well. If you ever play default in Seattle, I've tried landing at Painefield (with a skybus A319/320 because its really good) and the closest I got was somewhere on the runway, before going off through some buildings. :P

Then I managed to follow the taxiway and take-off again! 8)

My comp isn't "good enough" for FSX, that is why I am working my butt of trying to earn money! but I haven't received a single payment!

Got a new nice gaming rig this summer (8800GTS 320MB) but still didn't buy FSX. It's seriously not worth it. If you bought FS for the graphics, you might as well try a high-tech raytracing sim (I'm sure there are a few out there), but if you're more for the practical, aviation want-to-fly side of thing, FS9 is enough.

The real full motion flight sims that pilots use to train barely have scenery ;)

That makes 1 Vista, 1 XP desktop, 2 XP laptops (one communal, one dad), 2 Fedora 6 servers (Web+Mail), 1 being converted into a Fedora 8 file server... so technically it's really just 3 usuable computers

This thread was supposed to be about Flight Sim, not "look what I've got".
