Costs to researching routes?

Where do you find out how much Researching Routes costs?

Hm, I play now the second round but I never know the exact number of money I have to spend on researching. But a long route between high pax airports can cost 250k (Mexico City-Frankfurt). And a short route between low pax airports may cost just a few hundred Euros.

Some rounds ago I read that the cost was dependent on how long the route was and how many pax both airports had. (might have changed though)
