i just logged on to find out i have to select a base/focus city to start from.

yet, i look at the alliance page, and i am still on there, whats going on?

while a type this, a friends suggested that it happened because i was 7 million in debt after starting the alliance.

any truth to this?

Auto-bankrupt is in effect. If the amount of your debt > your asset, you go bankrupt, and get reset.

No, anyone with negative airline cash below their airline value has their accounts reset. This might happen when you start an alliance with too little money, so you get into debt and your airline value drops.

So that is basically a free alliance.  The alliance is there, and he has been reset back to normal.  That is the part that doesn't seem fair.

You'd have to rejoin, costing 2M, but I think airlines with 0 members are deleted.

-_- Sorry about that.  you people who created an alliance and got hit by the autobankrupt, it's partially my fault for forgetting to put in a cash check to the create_alliance page.  There now is one.

The problem is, as far as I can see, you are still in the alliance. Ie. you don't need to rejoin :?
