Well speaking of SIN, I wanted to go to the main SIN airport where like 30 million passengers go, but too many airlines fly there as well....

Why not Detroit or Thunder Bay? those have a good flow of passengers and almost no airlines run a these airports. I am at both, but I'm trying to kick out this other guy who has something against my base.

Its the exact same type of nonsense that infects another online airline game.

Want a suspect?  Look for someone who is growing at the affected airports while everyone else idles or dwindles.

Thing is, the airports that our lovely Southern Belle is involved in massive amounts of gate don't really conform to any growing airline- I had a quick look, and some of the airports are really quite confusing. BOM, AEP, CPH, LAX now (oh dear), HPN? No one is really growing out of any of those airports- or at least no one based out of EWR.

You should not look at all those airports as one airline because those gates are in fact "used" by different airlines.

True enough, correlation!=causation. However, the one variable here is that all the airports that I listed are mysteriously out of gates now.

Yeah. Every once in a while however, I get really lucky and someone gives up a gate at a really busy airport, and I happen to be the first one to snatch the last gate up :D

This, amazingly, happened when I actually found ONE GATE LEFT OPEN at LAX and the same thing happened 2-3 days later at Hong Kong. Sooo lucky!  :D

I wouldn't mind having that happen when I try renting a gate at Beijing or sumtin.

Ah, I should have clarified, most of these gate holdings are in the 10+ area.

Edit: He's up to 1000 frequencies on EWR-LGA: I think the PANJNY would be pretty mad at the delays created should a storm ever come up.

I guess I was lukcy when I found one gate open at CAN (Guangzhou) and NGO (Nagoya), I rented it immediately.

But I agree it is abosolutely stupid and impossible in real life to run 1000 0.5 frequencies on the EWR-LGA route.
