Good day / Servus!

Here are the updated figures for Austrian airports. Vienna Airport sees a particularly impressive rise in passenger numbers.

VIENNA, from current  23,352,016 up to 27,037,349 yearly passengers.
Link is from official Vienna airport website (in German). Midway through the document are the official yearly figures for 2018
 https://www.viennaairport.com/unternehmen/investor_relations/news/verkehrsergebnisse?news_beitrag_id=1547640734879

For the other Austrian airports, I consulted this link (in German). They are from the official "STATISTIK AUSTRIA" organization.
http://www.statistik.at/web_de/statistiken/energie_umwelt_innovation_mobilitaet/verkehr/luftfahrt/personenverkehr/070712.html

To get the total figures, you need to refer to the tables for "Fluggäste" (passengers), and add the columns for "AN" (arrivals) + "AB" (departures) + "Transit". These are the official figures for 2018.

I did the calculations for you, but it's always better if you double check.

INNSBRUCK:     1,119,347 yearly passengers
GRAZ:                 1,030,929 yearly passengers
KLAGENFURT:      228,372 yearly passengers
LINZ:                     464,586 yearly passengers
SALZBURG:       1,844,468 yearly passengers

Some of the variations are minimal compared to current AM figures, but at least you would have the exact and latest airport figures for Austria.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen.

I wonder if there are airports that have less passengers over the years? I guess Damascus airport (war), Tripoli airport (war), Sharm El-Sheikh (Metrojet Flight 9268)....

But all in all people are flying more, further, and in increasing numbers.

Syrian and Libyan statistics are slightly difficult to come by right now, so I can't say ;)

More people = more CO2 = more bad :(

It's so nice that some countries release easy-to-access statistics. While others... Not so much (looking at you, Caribbean!).
Passenger numbers updated, should be visible in any world created after this

I'll keep looking now & then. If ever I can find precise and updated statistics, I'll let you know.

Some places clearly are a challenge.
Other nations may have detailed statistics, but language would be a problem (Arabic etc)...
