That's my airline, I currently own 2 HS-748 Srs 2A, 2 Boeing 737-200 Adv. Business Jet, 4 Dornier 228-200, 1 Helio H-600B Stallion, and one ATR 42-320. My DOC is € 1,769,932. Any advice on what planes to buy, what routes to run, whether i should open another HUB, etc? Just any general advice?

Bad link. Go to the rankings page and look up your airline. On the top right column there will be a box with a code named forum code. Use that link ;)

If you want to earn money, don't fly to Europe and Hawaii yet. Wait until you have around 15-20 million DOP.

use gate search to find gates near Midway, fly to as many as possible nearer than 500 miles. This will increase your DOP very fast. Purchase new planes and repeat.

I think the ATR 42 is a good plane to start with; when you move on to jets I would choose Fokker F28 and/or BAe 146.

Buy ATR-72s. Then fly to every city within 1000 miles of your hub. When that is done, you can proceed to jets ;)

And in addition to that: when your can purchase new aircraft (or second hand aircraft), and you have some routes, do not start new routes with that aircraft but, when you're able, open a new hub and start flying from that second hub to the destinations you are already flying to. To make this possible, you have to be sure your aircraft range is enough to operate from your new hub to your "old" destinations.

Why should you do this?

By renting new gates, your gate rental fees will increase. You have ten slots a gate. So: use them!

The gate fee will usually be paid back in around a month. The aircraft maintenance is a much bigger expense, you should make sure to have a young fleet too. Not saying it is bad opening a new hub, but max out your current hubs first.

If you are going to open a new hub, then I could recommend either Minnesota/Minneapolis or Detroit.

You need  5 mio DOC at least for opening next hub, buy more turbotrops like HS748E, ATR-42 and etc.   Yea DTW is very good airport but in public world is every 30 mio airpot very crowded you must check competiton before you will open there hub. Check too PHL this hub is sometimes very overlooked and there are only 2 - 3 airlines.

but PHL is an the NE-corner of the US, far from almost everything and with the ocean on one side. There might be a reason it is that empty.
