I notice I can increase the fares on my routes every few days, I read this is the 'hub effect'. But I wonder what effects it?
It is something that goes up by itself every day, or when you add routes from a hub, or something else?
I notice some days the fares can be increased a lot, and other days by not very much.
Thanks

Like yesterday I bought a Tu-134 and put it on some of my longer routes that were being operated by a Fairchild FH227-B and I was disappointed with the profit increase, in fact on 2 routes the profit was less. But then today I did the hub-effect fare hike and now the profits are a lot better.

I think it is affected by the amount of passengers you have at the hub airport. But I'm not sure.

Because passengers connect between two planes at your hub. Therefore you have a slightly larger market. This can actually amount to a few million € if you are big enough.
