I have ambitious plans for my airlines and I would like to run a number of routes from South America to Asia.  The longest one I can think of that I would like is probably Santiago to Beijing, which clocks in at just under 12000nm.  I know they have flown aircraft over halfway around the world in this best decade, so I am wondering if at any point in the game if there is a plane that could make this trip.

Thanks!

You can use research route to see if any aircraft have the capability. I just checked in a world set in 2000 but didn't get any results for aircraft capable of flying the route.

The 777-200LR and A340-500 are your best options. Not available until 2005+

The VIP and BBJ versions will be able to do that.

Edited to add: here's one available starting in 2007
