If i would call it a bug i dont know, but the way i see it planes fly around in this world wilthout using time to do so.
why?

for example: i buy a plane and let it fly from amsterdam one route 3 hours. i would have 21 hours left. but when a plan another route i can plan this plane from every base or focus city i have, without the deduct of flying there empty and the deduction off other cost to do so. even stranger it cost no time to do so.

it gets stranger when you plan routes for a plane. a one 0.5 route is a one way trip(or isnt it?)
but when you have only one hour left and you fill this up with a 0.5 route teh 24 hours are filled up, how in heavens name doe it get back in time to do the first flight from the home base?, and again flying back empty would cost money?

i think this is a big bug in this game timetabeling flights ends up in strange hopping from planes wthout losing time or money to do so with these planes.

If you fly a plane from A to B, you should only be able to schedule further flights involving those airports. The plane needs to have a logical route around all of them, granted the logic isn't perfect it works reasonably well. If your issue is something that gets around this logic, please post Your ID, the World ID and the Aircraft ID(s) concerned.

With 0.5's or one-ways the idea is that on Day #1 the aircraft flies out, and Day #2 the aircraft files back. Its our workaround for the constraints of a generic 24 hour aircraft system.

world id PW#977. Wow World
plane id 149     Ilyushin Il-76TD

you say With With 0.5's or one-ways the idea is that on Day #1 the aircraft flies out, and Day #2 the aircraft files back

the problem is i plannes two 0.5 routes from newyork to calgary and from new york to edmonton, when this plane would fly this route on 0.5. it would have to land on ane off those two airports and leave from there to the other, inorder to fly the same route back the following day as you say.

However, it doesnt do that. it flies out to galgary, flies back empty and makes onother 0.5 trip to edmonton. if i see it right on atleast one trip the plnae is flying back empty and it doesnt cost me a thing???

i thaught the 0.5 routes would enable you to plan longer routes, by making a stop on one airport and fly further to the other. and fly the same route bach the other day. wouldnt it make much more sence?

If I understand correctly, you have the following two routes, as it appears in your View Aircraft page (for Aircraft ID 149)...

New York - Calgary 0.5
New York - Edmonton 0.5

This is what happens...

Day 1
Calgary -> New York -> Edmonton

Day 2
Edmonton -> New York -> Calgary

With those two routes, the plane spends the night in Calgary every other day and in Edmonton the other days.

Planes never fly empty unless it has a 0% load factor.
