737-800 BBJ or A-319 ACJ on Trans-Atlantic routes

I am thinking about starting my first Trans-Atlantic route from the  Eastern US, but don't have enough to consider the typical widebody a/c.   Is there a way you can tell if it would be profitable to operate a 737-800 BBJ or the A-319 ACJ on one of these routes?   I don't want to make the investment without knowing it's worth it.  Thanks.

They were profitable last time I used them. However, there have been a couple changes since then.

BJs are profitble if youre the first few people to run that route.

You can also use them to connect medium sized cities at long distances quite profitably. Routes between big cities/medium cities rapidly get over filled.

The BBJ's are really good on trans-atlantic if there's no competition. They're quite fuel-efficient, mostly because the game sees them as small business jets of Citation size, just with better range, it's just that once you get competition on these routes that don't fly BBJ's, you're really screwed because of the limited passenger capacity. That and they're cheaper, mostly because the game ... Citation size.

Except for BBJ2... It got more pax than a Fokker F-28......

As for A-320 Prestige, I wonder any BJs can get further than it is capable of..... ^-^
Note: A-320 Prestige has a range of 9200+nm /i]

That's the problem with VIP aircraft. You don't know. It's up to the customer, usually. Once we get multiclass seating, you may have the option to outfit an aircraft with premium/VIP seats only, making a 747 into a 747VIP with a capacity of 50.

Well, mine can hold up to 70. But it usually carries only about 10 on most flights.
