Best Airline Brand 2007

Right all,

I have seen a few people with some nice logo's/approaches to their airlines. Time for a competitive streak!
All you have to do to enter is submit each of the following:
  • A Logo,
  • A Livery (OPTIONAL),
  • An Airline name,
  • A short description about your airline,
  • And why you chose your current brand.
The prize is €100,000,000 (100mil) the winner will be announced in 7 days time.

I will also look at your press releases to help decide!

I'm definitely competing :D

The airline's name is pretty much clear from the logo, i'd say, but to end all (though unlikely) doubt, my airline's called OrangeAir.
It started out as a small airline based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, serving the biggest commercially attractive locations in Western Europe. We were out there to help the Dutch businessmen. Now, we are bigger than I'd have thought in the time it took. Our first trans-atlantic flight is already planned (as soon as we have the appropriate aircraft   ), and our inaugural flight to the Middle-East wasn't that long ago either.

The reason why I chose this brand is actually the same as the one in the press release. I read this article about one Martin H., a promising young entrepreneur, who tried to 'unisolate' the Isle of Man. With succes, one might say, but most would disagree. Naturally, I thought I could do a much better job, so I tried. A lot of energy, young and reckless thinking and crap research should do the trick to create a world renowned airline. Being Dutch, I figured Holland could do with a little Baby Bransonish airline. I still don't quite know why I had to choose Holland, as Europe's skies are quite crowded, but I think I had two main reasons: 1) Many people are quite prejudiced about the Dutch, with our gay marriages and drugs legislation, and this could be stopped by transporting Dutch people all over the world, 2) Dutch people like to travel, but they don't really like KLM.
So, to make a long story short, OrangeAir tries to fill the gap that KLM has left in the minds of the Dutch lone traveller.

I didn't expect this to be this long, i'm sorry :)

EDIT: Forgot my livery   For the story behind the livery, check my press release. It is the truth and nothing but.

The aircraft on the picture is a Boeing 7e7 Dreamliner (in FlightSim 9), the only aircraft I'd really have to buy for OrangeAir as I just really, really like it. And it's an easy texture to work on, as I didn't have a lot of time.

I have a huge amount of stuff for my old AE airline BritishPanEuropean, can I enter that rather than my AM FlyBE one as it would probably be kind of plagerism?
ho said aviation sites were sexist?

My airline is British World Airlines, or flyBWA.

flyBWA is a small airline (currently only 2 Twotters, a CASA and the Fokker), operating from London's Heathrow airport to European destinations.

In FS I also have some other aircraft, with 777s:

A321s: (In retro livery, standard and 2012 Olympics liveries)

E-170s: (in standard and Goldensky Alliance liveries)

B737-800W

flyBWA is a modern, full service airline. I aim to have the best service availible, and we operate a modern and efficient fleet to destinations world-wide. All aircraft have free in-flight entertainment, with video and audio on demand on all widebody aircraft. Every seat has a personal television screen on all aircraft. All flights have meal service, with frequently changing menus and SkyChefs for First Class on the longer flights, using Boeing 777s.
Unlike British Airways, we actually serve airports away from London, with long-haul flights from Heathrow, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and East Midlands airports, and with short-haul flights from Edinburgh, Liverpool, Belfast, Aberdeen, Southampton, Cardiff and Exeter aswell. This means that most of the population of Britain are reasonably close to one of our airports.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their submissions and thankfully I roped in an "external" person to judge them to ensure I dont bias the choice. :D I am very happy to announce that the following airline has won the €100,000,000 prize fund. Congrats.
