AM does not use the typical payload when it comes to range. We try to get the range for a smaller payload while using maximum seating for the aircrafts. This is done in preparation for future development, such as multi-class seating and cargo, where the payload would affect the range and performance of an aircraft. If you go to "payload vs. range" pages in Embraer's website, you would see that our ranges are well within the capabilities of the respective aircrafts, despite not in the cabin configuration we have in our database.
