Subject:     Aircraft Sold
Message:    The following aircraft has been bought from you by Asia Pacific Airways:
#12492 - Boeing 767-300ER at a price of € 0

(I never listed a 767-300ER)

However, i'm not absolutely positive i had it in the first place.  I think i did though.

Then yeah. I did buy it, and it's decided not in my fleet/flying routes.  I definitely bought a used 767-300ER off the used market.

Mayhap i bought it at the same time as Asia Pacific, causing some weird transactional logic breakdown in the server where i paid, he got the plane, and i was told I sold it to him for free?

I don't think so, because once I actually purchased a 737-400ER for 0 credits. Don't know how it happened.
tar Cross Airlines ID:235 Fleet consists of 116 aircraft.

It happens from time to time. Despite a check in there to stop it (€0 sales), might tighten that one up a bit and see if it does anything.

:o what's happening?

Ahh, I Purchased 2x of those 767-300ER's that where on the market's, I didn't really look at my money after , since i had more than enough (im burning my money)   . Did I buy it free?!?

How should we fix it? The aircraft is already on my routes, But i suppose if the need arrise i can let it go. damn this is confusing.

just fill me in before anything is done, so i know what to do.

sorry bout the problem air elbonia. this is a strange bug, Never had it happen before.
cheers,
-tom

I think i have a good idea of what happened, tom don't worry about the plane (pff. what's that cash to me? not much of anything).

Stephen (mind if i call ya Stephen? hope not), do you have good transactional logic involved in your used a/c page? I kind of doubt it.

mmm... inferences.

Anyways, i was buying a/c today from a fellow alliance member, and i double clicked the buy aircraft button on two of them. I wound up with two "Aircraft Sold" messages in my inbox, for 0 euros.  Gee. it seems to me the system started processing the second partway through the first click, and wound up selling myself the aircraft for 0 euros after buying it off of the other player.

This shouldn't be, All should process or none of it should, some sort of transactional logic should stop the second one from going through.  It's not an easily exploitable bug mind you, the chances two people order the same plane at the close enough to the exact same time are rather slim, but it may occur.

*like i said Stephen, I know enough to be dangerous*

Obviously this area needs a recheck, I think I'll compile a list to keep myself busy for the summer. :)
