We update the data every real life year, manually, based on sources we have collected and those provided by players. We are looking for official data, just like we would when we add airports.

So, like, Mumbai passenger data in 1961 would be actual data from 2007/8, right?

KK, that's cool. Game gets too complicated otherwise with the rise and fall of the soviet union, fuel crisis in the '70s and such.

You may have a look into the Game Data section of this forum to see recent changes to airports. You may also post reliable sources (wiki is not such a source!) there if you found an airport that has not been updated to the latest data. Two things to keep in mind:

1. A new airport will make it directly into the worlds (if those are not limited to special airports) when we add it to the database.
2. Airport updates will be seen for first time in the game when a new world spawns up.

Gimpo Pax Data wrong

For Gimpo (GMP), Incheon (ICN) airport is supposed to have more pax right? However, gimpo is leading with 33,000,000 something pax with Incheon at the correct pax level of 31,000,000. This should be fixed FAST

Has been taken care of already. Just wait for the next world to spawn up and join it. You will be amazed about the 2007 data

(Hint: Gimpo is now almost a domestic airport only serving Japan and China as the only international destinations IIRC.)

Nope, not that massive. Some experienced a drop but some smaller airports increased traffic. There will be some less pax for South Korea but this was caused by the outdated pax data for Gimpo. AFAIK Gimpo was the main airport until 2001 (not sure about the year) before Incheon overtook this role. The numbers for Gimpo in the game represented a status the airport does not have anymore.

If you want to help us in updating pax numbers (airport traffic increased a lot last year in some regions of the world = more pax for you to move) or adding new airports to the game use a little of your spare time on searching for those data. Especially when you are located in a a non-english or non-german speaking country it will be a lot easier for you than for me finding such data by using you local language. The best is a complete list for the whole country as I found for Brazil or Sweden. This way I can update all at once.
