It's not, really. There is no best aircraft. Each one is good for a certain thing, although I would have to say that the closest to 'perfect' would be the Caravelle Super 10B.

I use BAC 111-500's i got 21 of them.
119 Seats

I think there really good.

There in the same class as the B737-100 & 200, SE210 Caravelle Super 10B aircraft but BAC has slightly more seats, a slightly faster speed, longer range and substantial fuel usage. Up to you.

The 727-200 has a much larger seat compacity and in real life kinda go for the 200+ seating classes. (I think)

Oh but i think the reason why not many people choose BAC 111-500 is because there like 10mil more expensive then the others, but meh i like it.

From a specs/price perspective...

10B, hands down.

Crap.  I voted for the 737-200 because of its range, but I like the 727-200 as well tho.  I have one 727 and it's actually the biggest money maker for my airline.  It rakes in over 820k Euros for me!

The Caravelle may not actually be a better plane, but it is dirt cheap, meaning it is the best value for money plane.

The Caravelle for sure. But I think it's far too cheap.

Uhh, I didn't vote for the Caravelle.  I voted for the 737-200 ;-)

The caravelle has the best value. True.   Sure the 737-200 beats it. But it's a route ruiner sometimes.

I think that on the <2000 miles segment and especially on European Flights, the best aircraft out there is the DC 9-30. It has 115 seats and range just like the 737-200 but is faster than the 732 and can therefore cover more routes. It is also cheap, coming in at only 40.000.000€. They are the backbone of my European fleet, i currently have 12 and am ordering about 1 a day at this rate.

For long range I think the 707 has no equals in this world :D

Multiple really.

F27-600 is a bargain starter and great for the smallest airports.
HS748E is the fastest cheap prop for the big cities.
F28-1000 is my fleet backbone as it offers the right capacity for my tiny base.  Pretty cheap as well.
Caravelle 10B is always lots of plane for the money but it doesn't suit me this round.
Caravelle S12 is not exactly best value for money (because of the 10B) but it's serving me very well as a "hub buster".  Takes only 24 days to build for 128 seats.

There's also one little gem of a plane which blows the 727-200 into oblivion.  Not fair to reveal the aircraft here because my "friend" voluntarily sold me three S12s cheap after my recommendation!

If I had to choose a single aircraft from the list, it has to be the Caravelle 10B.  Highly versatile aircraft and bloody cheap.
