Hi some hours ago my airline value was around 10,290,000,000; now in 3 or 4  hours I check again and it's dropped to 10,184,000,000. How come?
I request planes via brokerage but i had sufficient cash for that. i don't really understand
thanks for enlightening me on this

airline value has to do with the amount of money you have. If you have 200million cash and a value of 500million and then you spend 100million on it then the value of your airline will decrease for example 50million or 100 million (dont know the value)

I think when you request a plane in brokerage you pay some of it (30% or 35%, not sure) but it doesn't yet belong to you. As if money had gone out for no good reason. So, your company value goes down.

When the plane arrives you receive a new plane but only pay the the difference. At that time your company value is restored.

So, don't worry. :)

The value of your brokerage request is deducted when the broker picks it up, not when you place the order. Once you buy the planes that money will be back on your value.
