if there's 23 until the game starts, why there are some companies that -already- have passengers?

people have started creating routes and doing all that stuff, but it will be awhile before time progresses and we actually make money.

Yep, creating routes produces passengers. However no one makes or loses any money until the game actually begins.

rent 2 gates, created two routes, that have 0% of loadfactor, no matter how low my fare is. dop -54 euros. I AM LOSING MONEY.

As for the overall theme of this thread, the game will not advance until it officially opens (22 hours from now, unless they need to delay that due to bugs). We are allowed in now to rent gates and create our routes, but P&L doesn't occur until gametime begins progressing. Nobody is making money yet.
