According to the statstics on the B762ER, it is supposed to fly 6670nm in range, yet it can only fly about 5600nm (in game). With the B744, it is supposed to fly 8349nm, yet it can only fly about 6000nm (in game).

Would this be the number of hours available or just a range problem?

Although it has a range of 8200 nm, I doubt that the 744 in real life would be able to cover that distance in real life in under 24 hours because of its speed.

We mustn't forget that speed is a big playing factor when determining true range. Given more hours, a 744 could travel to those dreamland 8000 nm away airports.

However this is the game's limitation. The hours.

So you mean that in this game there is no way to serve the connection from South East Asia to North America directly?

There is, I have a a route going from East Asia to Chicago O'hare, if I can do it, you can too!

Granted it took me a 744 to do it.

I have tried to establish a route from Tokyo Haneda to Atlanta which has distance of 6,876nm, but it is not possible using a B747-400. Strange...
