I've seen this term in the forums a few times since I've joined. Could someone explain to me in very simple terms what exactly that entails. It sounds interesting and might throw a fun twist into the game.

Basically it will be a system where multiple games will be running simultaneously.  These games will be able to be relatively different in many ways, however will still be AM through and through.  An example would be a game in 1960 running at the same time as a game in 1990.  There's a lot of flexibility that is being worked into it, and likely will be changing ourselves from defining things in "ages" to just defining things in dates when stuff will be ready, as the parallel worlds won't necessarily start or end at the same time.

another related question (i like doing these :) ):  Will we be able to broker between games?  Like, if Orange was in one world and I was in another, would we be able to buy from each other?

They'll be able to have a lot of different variations, start/end days, game dates, game lengths, airport offerings, bizjet+commercial, commercial only, [eventually] cargo only, all aircraft, all aircraft no bizjet.... that sort of thing.
