(Ahhh... Sorry, a bit tired this morning.)
Maybe it would be worth considering having resets every 15 (or so) years, so 1970, then 1985, then 2000, etc...

Depends on new features, I think I can implement alliance features without a game reset, but anything to do with routes might be a good excuse to reset.
