I am based in City A and have a .5 freq (one way) to City B. Then after this route has has been running an airline based in City B starts up a .5 freq (one way) to City A. This new route from the other airline affects my loadfactor even though the flights are not the same and wouldn't be competing for the same people since the destination for the two is different. This seems to be an error to me.

Quite obviously, the route is the same, whether it's A to B or B to A. The planes still fly the same path.
