The Union Air Corporation is proud to announce the formation of Union Airlines, a full service carrier.
Union Airlines will be initially based out of Beijing Capital International (PEK). Starting out with three brand-new Douglas DC-9-20 aircraft, the airline launched operations in November, with the inaugural first flight to Tokyo Haneda International (HND). Since then, Union Airlines has successfully launched 13 more routes to other major nearby destinations, including Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu.
The airline is planning to purchase the Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle, in order to expand its operations. One SE 210 Caravelle Super 10B has already been scheduled for delivery, and a further purchase of 9 aircraft are being negotiated.
Union Airlines will be expanding and developing its network of domestic flights in order to build a strong foundation for future, longer-ranged destinations. The airline hopes to be able to establish future bases at strong, strategic locations all around Asia to provide passengers with more convenient connections - complemented by the premium flight experience - around the world.
