[Fixed] Message Board

Hi, it's me again.

Sorry but I have another issue now, in this same world PW3360.

It concerns the in-world forum aka "Message Board".

In Firefox:

I can create a new post by choosing the "category" and then entering a "subject" for the post. But then it will not allow me to type in any text in the "message" box. Same thing occurs if I hit "reply" instead of creating a new post.

In Internet Explorer:

Although I prefer Firefox, I tried with I.E. to see if any difference. Here I can indeed type in a text message. However once I publish the post, the formatting is somewhat off (wide spaces, unusual layout, truncated text). If I attempt to edit this post, then it's not possible, I get a strange message such as:



Under the above announcement I read: "Airline Mogul is not responding due to a long running script".

It also won't let me delete the post, on either of the two browsers.

Could you please also have a look at this issue?

Any update on this issue?

I just tried to send a message to another player in the world. In this situation as well, the system would not allow me to type any text in the message box.

So I can neither send a message, nor post in the in-world forum.

As I understood it might be a problem with the provider of the software - it seems to work fine on an ipad. But we are still looking into the issue.

Sorry for the delay, the plug-in we use works for me pretty well on Chrome. As Matias said it varies for him depending on what browser/device he uses.

I have updated the code for the software to be the latest generation to give that a shot. If you still have issues, please right click on the box, hit Inspect Element and then move to the Console tab and let me know of any error messages you see there.

Hopefully the update does the job though.

Hello,

Confirmed - I can now post in the boards and send messages to other players (Firefox). I appreciate the solution.

However I haven't found out how to include a photograph. Is this still a possibility with this updated software? Previously there was an option to add an image.

Just use copy and paste, it also works with pictures from your computer

Aah yes thanks, that was just a little too easy

Although from my end it only works if I upload the picture to a website before - it didnt work straight from my computer.
