question on buying aircraft from manufacturer

Sorry if this topic is covered elsewhere, but: When someone orders new aircraft from the manufacturer, they have a liability down payment due. There is also some payment that is owed at time of delivery. Now, does the buyer just pay the liability payment, and nothing more, OR, in addition to the liability payment, is the remaining balance owed from the buyer at time of delivery?

Are you talking about purchasing planes directly from the manufacturer, or are you talking about brokerage (purchasing via a user)?

talking about requesting aircraft to buy, not lease.

When you request an aircraft, you have to wait for another airline to accept the deal.
