As with the first one that does seem like a good idea, especially with a large fleet of interval ranged aircraft.
As with the second one, there is something similar to it in the gate search, but you would have to rank it as country ascending/descending and manually look for the country you want. Only problem is there isn't a distance based search on individual countries
