[Fixed] Airline exceeding maximum number of bases (I think)

Hi,

I'm playing in Private World #2068, which as I think allows for unlimited foreign bases, but only 15 bases in total.  As I understand it, a foreign base should count for 2 of those in the total, so the way it has been set up for [oo]15 is a bit meaningless.

Airline ID 31258 ("Soudana") seems to be based in Frankfurt, and has 6 European hubs in total.  Beyond that, there are a further 4 in Australasia and 2 in Africa.  So, that's 6 domestic + 6x2 international = 18.  In other words, more than 15.

Am I missing something here?  Is there a glitch in the programming that has allowed this?

Would be quite keen to open a rash of foreign bases myself in that world, so if someone could look into this and let me know whether Soudana's set-up is legitimate, or is actually the result of an error, I would be very grateful.

This is not an attack or criticism of an individual player, but instead a query about why the restrictions on maximum number of bases do not appear to be in place.

That is not bug. But in this world is number of foreign bases unlimited. In practital numbers that means you can have 15 home bases and unlimited number of foreign bases.

So when you have unlimited foreign bases, they don't count as two home bases?

I think they are not count as there is any limit for them.

There seems to be an issue when counting unlimited foreign cities, the X2 multiplier is not applied when unlimited foreign bases are enabled. Its not a feature, as that would allow a convenient bypass to the entire foreign base system.

Okay I have implemented a fix for all new worlds (Beyond #2113) where the foreign bases will be correctly counted and won't allow issues like this to arise. I think it would be unfair to apply the fix retrospectively to existing worlds since its been there for so long.
