Most Major Airports have already released their traffic statistics for 2011. As such, I'd like to provide a consolidated thread to allow stephenm and the mods to update the database.

To start here's a few

Beijing Capital: 73,948,114
Shanghai Pudong: 40,578,621
Guangzhou Baiyun: 40,975,673
Shangahi Hongqiao: 31,298,812

Rest of 181 Chinese Airports: http://www.caac.gov.cn/I1/K3/201103/...5388029023.xls

Please provide

Airport:
Passenger #s:

for each airport you wish to have updated and I

(Sometimes there are no direct links available. In this case provide me with the information on how to retrieve the data.)

A quick note that for most of the major airports, we do have the sources in our backend. It is just that we don't have the time / man-power to update the data. It is freaking 23:00 here and I just got back home from work. Gonna have some holidays coming up in April, so we will see how that goes.

@ dktc, I might be joining the staff as a database manager, so it should get updated pretty soon.

But yea, as I said, you will see lots of links for airport authorities/caa's once you have access to our backend.

As you guys don't seem to have so much spare time, why can't members help? Couldn't it be possible if trusted members that been here for a long time could do that. That could be some members that would update the database, and I think it wouldn't be impossible to find anyone. The game would only get better!

The simple reason is that we have the same access control point for all airport, aircraft, and user database. We have to be responsible and accountable in letting people gain access to all your personal information.

As airport data officer, I've gotten into the system most of the world airports with greater than 10 million pax updated. But during the recent downtime, the server hasn't been updated with the new traffic yet. I'm on it :)..
