Hi!

I was just trying to replace some DC-10-40's with some other ones to free some hours. While re-doing some routes, I discovered that I had to set the ticket price lower than before - even without competition. Why?

I have even opened more routes from the hub.

Details:
ID# 14837
WID# 1241
Aircraft ID# 18697
Route ID# 74735

I was using box3, if that does a difference?

Tis' because yields increase over time. When you shut down the route and recreate it, the yields go back to standard again.

But some routes haven't been changed since they opened. It is kinda weird.

Box 3 shouldn't make a difference but there may be very slight variations between it and Box 1 (Nothing to write home about though!).

The world is likely to be very mature if its ID 1241, may be an inactive airline has been reset at one or more airports? Leading to less routes in total which would give you a lower demand than when you first opened the routes?

Hmmm, it could be. But really a ~20000 revenue difference? I haven't really had competition in CPH.

20,000 on what kind of revenue? (100k, or 20k?)

Also try editing some really old routes on the DC10 at the same airport if you can. Just to see what it does to existing aircraft too.

I'll try.

Route 73163 from € 590 to € 652 (109,358 to 125,630)
Route 73132 from € 650 to € 725 (122,269 to 141,954)

From ~75k it dropped to ~56k. From CPH to Shanghai. Isn't it a bit weird?
