Hello everyone,

I had a query in regards to how maintenance cost is calculated: is it based purely on the age of the aircraft, or based on cycles & airframe hours?

Furthermore, when I sell used aircraft, at times it shows my aircraft cycles & airframes hours as an elevated amount, and other times it shows them all at 0 [zero]. How is this possible, and what are the implications when selling the aircraft?

I hope it is ok to do so, but I've added a print screen of aircraft for sale that have & have not airframe hours.

Thanks for a reply, or a pointer towards a thread where this issue was discussed.

All the best.

The maintenance cost is calculated based on age, not airframe hours of cycles, although that is something that is probably going to be changed when a new maintenance formula is created.
