Bleeding to death

   Currently in a private world.... my airline is #4 out of 50 or so. I was making money hand over fist and now everytime I look at my bank account I'm getting deeper and deeper in debt.

   My load percentage is the best in my world yet the airline is bleeding money left and right ! What's the deal, I can't comprehend why I am loosing so much money when I should be making more then anyone else.

Could we get some extra information. There are lots of reasons you could be losing money.
Your basic financial information would be useful.
Go to Reports > Finance and copy the table out.

A few extra questions:
Are you running multi-frequencies (more than 1x flight per route)?
     These are quite unprofitable
What is your aircraft average age? (Click Aircraft in the top row of links)
     A high average age leads to high maintenance
What is your loadfactor? (Quick Stat box)
Are you renting in/out many planes? For how much?

 No planes are being rented

 Very few X2 routes

 and to my understand I don't have to many old birds in the sky. Although I have to be honest I've tried looking for a list of my planes by age but I can't seem to find that option.

  Super fustrating as I should be making some nice $$$ but I'm just loosing more and more as each month go's by.

 ... just to follow up my previous post. I did in fact come across the way to view aircraft by age.

 This aspect is what I am least knowledgable about in AM, I had a few that were 11 years old and some that are 9 years old. I've listed my 11 / 9 year old aircraft. Will this make a difference ?

I believe it should.  I believe that the consensus here is that you should scrap or sell your planes around the 3 year mark.  I think it is even sooner for the really big planes.  Maybe someone else can add to this?

I personally try to sell my planes around the 1.5-2 year mark because:

1) They start to appreciate in maintainence
2) I can still get back a decent amount of cash relative to what I paid for the plane
3) By that point, I might prefer to put a better plane on that route
3) They can still be useful to other new players

I didn't sell aircrafts too! One time it went more than one year(12 days) to sell one ATR 42.
It is better scrap the aircraft, you will receive less money but you quickly solve the problem.

I agree with you... and nothing to be sorry about. Theoretically, if I scrap them enough times, all of them would end up in Ren's and Bryce's fleets
(not that I am doing that )

sorry for hijacking this thread, but my query is on the topic being discussed here.
My airline has a fleet of 120 A319s and they have served me well. Now the thing is, the oldest one of them is 2.5 years old. The youngest one was been delivered a [game] day ago. Now my question is, would one replace the older ones with newer planes of the same type or look for a new plane all together??

Huh? 1.5-2 years? I keep mine till like 8-9 years! I hate changing the planes all the time...
