« Last post by StephenM on January 30, 2022, 07:21:53 pm »Thanks for the suggestion, as Matias says the system is setup to swap with maintenance, if it really runs out of hours it leaves some flights behind on the old equipment. May be we can build in logic where you can check a box and allow it to swap maintenance or not. There are some use cases where you are leasing an aircraft and are swapping to an owned aircraft of the same type where you would want maintenance to go with it.
Let us see what we can do.

Suggestions / Maintenance on swapped aircraft

It can get very messy if you are swapping say 50 aircraft.

As an example, I joined Private World #3563 which starts with 5x 737-200. However, it was 1989 when I joined and the 737-200 is withdrawn in 1987 in the game, so block times no longer showed up in the research - it was effectively impossible to research routes through any means other than creating them and seeing what happens. That world has another 30+ years of gameplay left (a full year of real-world time), and anyone who joins the rest of that time will be stuck with five aircraft they can't directly plan. I used the 737-300 as a proxy, but as more and more analogous aircraft are withdrawn, the issue will be harder to work around.
At the very least, can the game be adjusted to make it so any aircraft that exists in the world shows up in the Research Route function?
