Cardiff, Wales, on my laptop.

Hi. Greetings from Hong Kong Airways. I am still re-adapting to the Airline Mogul UI after 4 years of absense. As the name suggests, I am flying out of Hong Kong. I only created routes that had no competition. So far I have 8 destinations in the Greater China region.

In case you are wondering what the mess is about in the logo, it is a really, really poor rendition of Hong Kong Island with kite shapes.

Hi. I don't know if anyone of you can still remember me.
I used to be quite active in AM. However, I decided in 2009(or 2008?) that academics was more important.
Since last year I have been trying to log back into my account, but was so far unsuccessful. :'(
I just want to experience this game once more. :P
Probably there had been a lot of changes to the game since I was last active in it.

It would seem that the world owner expelled everyone from the world. Only one user left in the world you mentioned. And based on the forum posts ( http://airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/world_info.php?wid=1091&t=1 ) it would seem he got 'angry' with everyone and removed them. -shrugs.- This is a risk you take for playing in a non-AM sanctioned world.
There was no sign that he got 'angry' with everyone, even from that post, I think. He just seemed to be 'angry' at few players. Anyway, there is nothing I can do now but learning a lesson at a cost of 15 days, right?

CHR's threads have always been a pleasure to read-very innovative and interesting.

2 days ago I went on a trip to Macau and after coming back to Hong Kong yesterday I have found out that I was expelled(maybe?) from a world (all I could remember for the ID was 1***) which was in the 1960s with a 707 as a starting plane. I can also recall that the number of bases allowed was [infinity]8 and the world was a full world with no passwords needed. These information leads to world #1091 which I find the name of the world and the host's airline very familiar. However, no one ever told me the reason I was suddenly kicked out(or not?) and that I remember I did nothing wrong but strove to grow. I believe that not only me is affected, but over 40 other players. Did anyone encountered similar experience just few days ago? Did you played in a world which a discussion thread was created, talking about new rules to regulate the frequency of routes, for example, to at least 1 for long-haul routes? If you did, please reply here to discuss about what really happened. I do want to know what really happened.

Later when the player numbers skyrocketed I left as I needed to spend pretty much time on it.
that make no sense
The ticket prices were low and i couldn't make a profit.

I like the old 2007 version. It was still fun to play. Later when the player numbers skyrocketed I left as I needed to spend pretty much time on it.

Suppose a national airline's livery should portray the country's landscape, style, etc., but I can't see anything about Britain on some planes.(Of course except the text "British Airways")

My Favourites
United Airlines Old Version (767-300) (747-400)
Good music, professional, shows American hospitality and "Thank you for flying the Friendly Skies."
China Airlines
Again nice music, warm and shows Chinese hospitality.
Lufthansa 1980s
Interesting, relaxing and realistic. I like the scene when the passengers were shocked after the oxygen masks fell down.
My Least Favourites
British Airways
Copying Virgin.
Delta Air Lines
Bad music and style.
Northwest Airlines
Unrealistic, I think that doing demonstrations in a room instead of a cabin is a bad idea.

What about yours?

Ok, we have airline moguls uploading their airline liveries; it's time to show just your logos.  8)

Nicely done. I hope someday I can design something like that. For my logo, check out my signature.

Favourites
1. China Airlines old livery. Simply because it carried our national flag and the overall design was very classical.
2. United Airlines 80s livery. The livery looked smart.
3. China Airlines current livery. I love it because there's my favourite flower on it.
4. United Airlines battleship livery, Looked good in reflections of the sunlight.
5. BOAC. It seemed like a masterpiece in terms of old free world airlines' liveries.

Least Favourites
1. Every airline in Mainland China.
2. Air New Zealand. Way too simple.
3. US Airways new livery. Looks like the America West livery which looked cartoonish.
4. World Tails by BA. Looked horrible and no British culture at all.
5. Aeroflot old livery, the colors didn't match at all.

You look much better without your glasses. BTW, you looked like an evil because your pupils appeared in red. :D Would you mind telling us more about this meeting like what decision was made, etc.?

General Chat / The jerk I met just now.
« on: September 13, 2008, 06:46:34 am »
Just now, when I was queuing up for the minibus at the terminal, a Mainlander jumped in the line in front of me and attempted to board before me. I was very angry so I tell me that I was there first and kindly asked him to queue up. But he didn't listen and claimed that he was there first and I was following him. I thought it was unacceptable so I right after the man originally in front of me boarded I got on. He kept claiming that I was wrong. I ignored him afterwards. I hate that man. He just slipped in right in front of me! That was terrible. He was trying to bully me! It's just crazy. The most surprising thing was that the driver didn't even try to tell him that I was first. I don't like such kind of attitude.
