« on: July 20, 2011, 01:17:52 pm »Airline name: OrangeAir
Airline logo:

Font of the logo text: Kozuka something, I wouldn't bother finding and replicating it because I can't even do that myself. You'd be best off just copying it.
Aircraft: Anything big, preferably a 777.
Special style: Modern. Playful, yet serious. The brand OrangeAir is aimed mostly at younger people, age class 21-35, but should still have a bit of class, and a hint of luxury, in it.

It has been a year, or more, but OrangeAir is slowly recovering and returning to business once again. How cool is that! We'll be using our time spent waiting for a good game world by working on our brand, building on the foundations of previous games to make OrangeAir the best AM airline there is.
You'll hear from us. Stay tuned!

That's easier to do when you have a logo, or at least some kind of idea about colors you want to use

OrangeAir Board of Directors proposes new House Style - Shareholders invited to voice their opinion

====================================
AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL - Yesterday, the OrangeAir Board of Directors, on OrangeAir's yearly shareholders meeting, has made a proposition for a new house style to replace the current 'Heart for the World' style. The new style had been designed in secret, with only several employees of OrangeAir aware of the process. The OrangeAir Board has asked all shareholders to comment on the new design proposal.
The new design, which is labelled as the 'Circular World' House Style, has been designed by a big Dutch design company which specializes in modern-looking but professional house styles. As expressed by OrangeAir Chairman Mr. Orange, "the new house style expresses our wish to connect people all around the world. No matter how far away they are from our main hubs in The Netherlands, they are always connected to every other part of the world via OrangeAir itself and our future partner airlines."
The house style for International Aircraft Financing, the brokerage branch of OrangeAir, has not been adapted, as the board felt it did not need much updating to stay in touch with the feel of the company. "We felt the old IAF logo did a good job in expressing what we think our brokerage branch is all about: high-quality service by professionals who know what the airline industry is all about, and all that for a reasonable price," said Mr. Orange.
In a surprise move, the board also mentioned their wish to re-instate the old Regent Alliance, originally founded with Imperial Airways. "The Regent Alliance had a reputation for gathering the best airlines around the world, making for a great alliance that offered quality, a huge route network, great member cooperation and, if I may say so, possibly the best group feeling we've ever seen compared to other alliances. If we ever get the chance, we will definitely bring it back," said the OrangeAir Operations Director when asked if any specific alliances were being considered as future partners.

« on: August 17, 2009, 10:46:00 am »- Set the layer mode for your paint layer, assuming you have one, to Multiply. This is usually done by changing a dropdown menu selection thingy, which in your case is probably set to Normal. The dropdown is usually located in your Layers Window. Also, make sure your paint layer is located directly above the template layer. Doing this will cause the paint to look a lot more realistic.
- For gradients: what you want to do is to create a simple black-to-white (or vice-versa) gradient, which is quite easy in CS3 and, I can imagine, similar in CS4.

This is the screen in which you edit gradients. The two blue ovals indicate the places you want to be to change opacity and color. You see the gradient outlined near the middle of this section. The right markers determine the way the color on the right will be looking, the left markers ... etc. The top left market determines the white color opacity. Just click that marker and set opacity to 0, which is listed at the bottom blue oval.
Also, don't forget to put the gradient in a separate layer above the paint layer so you can control its opacity a lot better (for maximum realism in your eyes), and cut it so it doesn't go beyond the aircraft.

« on: August 06, 2009, 06:26:40 pm »I've driven a Volvo V70 and a Mazda 6 and I have to say the Mazda beat the Volvo seat-wise.
Nope Never even sat in one but i bet that they have very comfy seats better than mazda's seats.
I like anything made by Japenese/Swedish and German PPL its the best.

Hardly any. I'll think about changing that lower limit, nothing is certain though.
