Note: I'd love to learn more, one of the things I want to do is have a button where you can click for either the game, forum or manual and it would go to specific sites for each. Though since AM is not completely mobile friendly this will have to wait.
Clear Cache. Go into the application settings and clear the cache. It will take up extra space.
There my be some glitches since good parts of the source are copied. :/ I kept messing up so I had to copy the original example provided by Google.
General Chat / Re: Which is Your Favorite?
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:38:31 am »My favourite browser would have to be Chrome. I only use IE for my email because it won't work in Chrome.I got tired of Kubuntu and switched to Ubuntu Studio Edition. They KDE desktop kept making me mad. I find gnome a lot more simple to use... I mean in terms of "pretty" KDE has the more windows feel and would be good for a transition... But GNOME seems to be easier to use... Now.. Mint... they have a nice sett-up, but I've yet to try them to see if they offer anything of real interest.
My favourite OS is a tie XP or Kubuntu (Linux). I have a dual boot between each on my computer. Kubuntu is easy to use and free!p, but only XP has all the programs I need to run. I have tried to use Macs a few times and they drive me crazy!
Game Strategy / Re: Fleet Commonality?
« on: December 30, 2009, 09:53:30 pm »How ever I don't tend to do things like Southwest. I may use 3-4 different brands, but stick with those types. I really wish though there would be added benefits for things like this.
A380's data is anyway wrong. The speed and the fuel consumption amongst the major things are wrong! Is there a person that could correct the mentioned faults? What data do you have showing that it is wrong?
Private World Discussion & Invitation / Re: Expelled(?) from a 60s world for no reason, any other affected?
« on: December 23, 2009, 05:45:31 pm »We hope to change the world removal system to ensure each user is given a reason for the removal. Some elements of this may include, AM Staff approving reasons and removals provided by game admins, (To make sure the reason is clear, and reasonably valid. Not just "no comment" or "get out"). Possible 'archiving' of airlines for one week after deletion so that the airline can be restored afterwards.
That may be the only way to control this while still giving owners some power in their world. If the airlines are put in freeze while their removal application is over-viewed, might make people a bit more happy than flat out removal. But what would be a list of reasons the staff would approve a removal? If a world owner said "You can't fly any of the same routes as mine" would this be perfectly acceptable?

The only rule is: only Soviet and Eastern Block A/C permitted!
Then why exactly are you you starting out with a DC-3?

« on: December 09, 2009, 04:43:12 am »I just had the same thing happen to my airline in PW#930 - MesAAba.
1/2/89 - 190,000,000 - Monthly Maintenance Fees
1/1/89 - 560,000,000 - Monthly Maintenance Fees
The maintenance fees were killing me. I started a fleet renewal with A320's but nothing extreme. It would not have reduced my fees by 370m. Something was going on. I am not sure what it is.
How old were these aircraft when you started renewing them?
