Is it possible to run a 747 SR in am and make it work? Aka make a decent enough profit from it or is this a no no?

Say I have a 767 and the route profit is 250k is the maintenance costs already deducted from this price? Eg if maintenance costs are 50k is the real profit 250k or 200k ?

Well I wanna push my FSX skills and therefore I am planning the following route using a 747-400:
1 London Heathrow - Dubai - 3420m
2 Dubai - Beijing - 3636m
3 Beijing - Tokyo - 1301m
4 Tokyo - Sydney - 4863m
5 Sydney - Honolulu - 5082m
6 Honolulu - Ancorage - 2784m
7 Ancorage - Seattle - 1446m
8 Seattle - Chicargo - 2553m
9 Chicargo - JFK - 946m
10 JFK - LHR - 3446m
I would like to break up stages 4 and 5 any suggestions?

I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Concorde in game (or the TU-144s) and been able to make a profit out of them and if so which is the better aircraft / how long to keep them in service?

On my way home form work I got a call from a friend, a supposed "Computer Expert" :
Him - Dave, I was just cleaning up my pc and found a thing called Darik something or other which cleans your disks
Me - yeeeesss....
Him - so I ran it and asked it to clean or something my disk and now my PC wont start up.....
Me - you didnt what now?
Him - I ran it and now computer doesnt work!
Me - (holding back the laughter) right what we are going to need to do is for me to dial into your machine, I need you to put your land line phone next to your computer can you do that for me?
Him - Yeah sure gimme 30 mins
============30 mins later another call==================
him - done that, had to drill a hole in the wall but I got it there
Me - ok pick up the reciever and put it next to your tower unit, I will call you when Im done
Him - Ok thanks mate

As I cannot ban myself I will explain the rules.
Basically not a real ban, just a bit of humor game.
You will put a silly reason for banning the person above you, for instance the first reply could be "Banned for buying a fan blade off a Boeing 747", the next person could put something like "Banned for - Being jealous and not buying a 747 engine part" and so on, as long as it starts with "Banned for......."
have fun ...

I know its not the one you will see at the front of an engine but I am going to get it professionally polished and get my dad who is VERY skilled at wood work to mount it on a wooden plinth. I think as a aviation enthusiast it will not only look good as a piece of modern art, but be a good conversation piece!
What I will do is take photos of each stage of it if people want might be interesting if other people purchased one and wanted to know how it turns out etc.

First and foremost why are you questioning this? the game is a competition. The meaning of that word is that "two or more rivals" this covers the whole game.
The fact I am based at LHR isnt my problem its yours, its called competition more than one airline is based at LHR in real life....

It appears i have been removed from world 2168 rather unfairly and without warning I don't feel I did anything wrong with this world and I have been removed as I was leading this world by quite some margin can an admin look into this as I joined this world with PAID for tokens and I no longer have enough tokens to join another world needless to say I am rather upset I would like these tokens to be refunded as I never got chance to defend myself in this world and it's very unfair

Suggestions / Aircraft Earnings screen

How about this :
I currently use an excel spreadsheet that calculates the following (amoungst ither features) - (if anyone wants a copy of this please pm me and i will email it to you)
1 - When an aircraft earns its own purchase value
2 - When an aircraft earns double its own purchase value.
3 - Sale value of the aircraft
This allows me to realise when the plane has paid for itself, doubled the value and how much it was sold for, essentailly showing you the profits that aircraft has made over its life with your airline. I use this to see when I can sell the aircraft which is when it doubles its own value, allowing me to have a young fleet which is contantly being re-newed. This isnt fool prove at all as if you close a route or a route changes and the costs change it changes the overall earnings but you get the idea.
What this doesnt take into account is the maintenance which would also be a VERY valueable feature.
My feeling was to add this to the view_aircraft.php page under the option to view more detailed information on the aircraft.
whats your ideas?
Hvaing made a few websites myself I dont think this would be too hard to implement as we already have the aircrafts monthly earnings, all this needs is another table where by at the end of each month the earnings are added to a field -
id - record ID
pw - world ID
ac - aircraft ID
owner - your airline ID
value - the value in euros
This value can then be taken to the webpage view_aircraft.php, where it would show the aircrafts current maintenance cost subtract it from this and show you the planes overall earnings?
