Can I get one like this please? I recently started playing again and this was my old livery. Can I get a newer version of it if possible? Mostly just thinking some more work on the back end and tail of the plane but do whatever your creative mind comes up with! Love your work. Thank you so much!

Game Strategy / When to open a new hub?
« on: January 04, 2015, 11:50:37 pm »
I have been playing AM for upwards of 5 years however stopped playing for a while and recently have started up again. I am of course using the premium Gate Search (I'm no rookie ;) ) however I need some help with expanding my airline. I have a general "business plan" set up in terms of where I want to open hubs and I am already in an alliance.

My DOC is over 10 million already which is good but not great. I have regularly in the past opened up anywhere from 2-7 bases but still to this day never knew when the right time to "make the leap" and open a new one.

Currently I am based at LAX and am allowed 4 bases. I have plans to open in IAH (to play off of my alliance members DFW base and allow him to do the same at IAH) and then another at JFK  after that with the 4th open to something more obscure and fun like Honolulu or a foreign base in Europe or something.

So my question is, when should I open up in Houston? My thoughts are that I would need 10-15 of my primary use aircraft (A320-200) and 15-20 combined of my smaller regional aircraft (ERJ-145 and ERJ-170STD) I also thought maybe I should make the 170s into ERJ-190s as they are slightly bigger and just ditching the 170 fleet all together.

thoughts?

Also since we are not aloud to use real airline names, I just added the word North to it so it's "North American Airlines"

Can I do a combination? Because American and Alaska Airlines are pretty good business partners. May I? :) if Not then I choose American... but I would love to join this world.

I love the idea. and Lately I've been really digging modern worlds, as much as I love old aircraft, I think a world starting in 2000 is absolutely perfect. But if I had to choose between 1947 or 1992, definitely 1992. Also if you decide to create such a world I would like to be the flag carrier the USA or at least one of those portions you talked about.

The co pilot left his keys in his car, while he went to retrieve them, the captain found it comical to move the plane to a different airport.

This is my favorite kind of world. :) I would like to maybe start out of a smaller airport and see where it takes me

Oh man I'll be really rusty as I've not had much time for AM lately but now i have a solid 2 weeks to build the foundation of an airline, wich is what really counts imo. I'm really interested in not having a base in the U.S. Any suggestions? Or possibly, for a real challenge, honolulu.

Over the past year and a half, since first opening up in Atlanta, Western Connection has grown dramatically. From being a regional East Coast carrier to a now, International Airline. We have flights to canada, Mexico and several other Central American countries. We have flights that go across the country.

In that time we have also purchased 10 boeing 767-200s (picture of the amazing livery done by 1933matias below)

Now, our focus is on expanding and I see a new hub being opened up in the near future.

Alliances / Re: TransSky Alliance (PW 1991)

As a representative from SkyConnect, I would like to inform you that AmericaFlight used our alliance to create routes from many of our alliance bases and then unexpectedly left, and I have now noticed that they are asking to join yours. How this information will effect your decision to accept or deny their access is up to you. Oh, and congratulations on first place!!!
