am is a competetive multiplayer game where euro talks.
if someone can AFFORD a multifreq somewhere, it means he can pay for it.
airline mogul is not a sandbox game. if you dont like someone dropping the max frequency widebody bomb on you, if you dont like 1€ routes, learn to deal with it or play another game. stop the whining.
i use 1€ routes and multifreq frequently, i will let you in why i use them and which goal i try to achieve:

a) i deny the other guy profits on a route, knowing his income is not as diversified as mine
b) i know he is a multifreq 1€ whiner, so i will piss him off so much that i can count on him getting sick of it so that he will stop updating routes
c+d+e) secret

why? to make more money. stop whining you fools, multiplayer games implicitly include interaction with people. in a competivite environment, this means that the others players goal is to inibit the other players success. embrace competiton, prevail.

p.s.
the numerous "rocket scientists" who say that they will counter "multifreq with pricewars" might want to rethink their statement, it makes them look retarded, really retarded.

- foreign hubs, such a useless tool in 90% of the cases, noone has used the useful 10% yet
- people with [hates multifreq] in their signature, is that the new kind of 1 euro route whine?
- weak competitors in my hubs should stop moaning and go to disney land, especially those who are in CDG. i dont think any airline besides MMR and me will live to tell the tale of CDG this round, simply because all others will get crushed.

i just put max frequency a321 on multiple routes in europe for these people. i hope they enjoy the 8x A321s

put all your observations and thoughts in here as you come across things that make you laugh, shake your head or whatever floats your boat!

i will start off:

- noticed someone flies a A330-300 on FRA-MUC @150€, what a brilliant tactic. the person must have saved a day or two and then wait for ages on delivery, just to make a whooping 300k dop with a 200m plane, ok using spare hours most likely, but still, the planechoice in this phase...

- noticed a player with thousands of routes maintaining an extreme lf, dude, its a game, its not worth your life.

- some people move all the way from let to j61 to f100 to bigger, while it might be most efficient, it surely sucks the motivation out of you without hotswap. i decided to skip alot of steps and go for a 170 seater straight away. it cost me alot of growth but now the benefits come in and i dont have to switch planes out in about 5 days, like all the other people. playtime optimization > growth optimization

also, if you lease try to lease aircraft which are talked about as lemons on this forum. For example some days ago the A300 was available for leasing for quite a cheap price due to its slow speed!

the A300 is still available at lowest possible leasepirce!

Me2, but I can't afford to update 200 routes 10 times per day

i think this round should be a 10 year round..

i think 5 year is very very good for this round, due to the reason specified by bluesky.
given the still massive growth, 10 year round would simply go into an unbearable grind. right now, we already witness that only two people in the top5 are willing or able to keep up with the growth of their airlines. if it was a 10 year round i would assume that the fun part would be lost for about everyone.

i am actually suprised that there are so many players in the top20 with so many over80 LF, i personally find the current round to bealready unplayable in the daily time i am willing to spend on the game, even though i am most likely the most "playtime efficient" player out there.
